The Primary Care Nurse practices under a manager’s general supervision and follows BCCNM professional standards and ethical requirements. Working within an interprofessional team, the nurse provides direct clinical care and services. Care supports individuals, groups, families, and communities across physician practices, homes, schools, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide competent, protected, and ethical primary care
- Complete clinical follow up according to primary Care Plans
- Consider personal goals of care when informing plans




- Collaborate with interprofessional team members on care planning
- Deliver direct clinical services to individuals, groups, and communities

- Registered Nurse qualification
