Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems as an Industrial Maintenance Technician at Armtec’s Walkerton, Ontario facility.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this hands-on position supports safe, reliable manufacturing operations across HDPE production. You will maintain diverse equipment, including extruders, corrugators, conveyors and material conveying systems. The work combines preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, equipment adjustments and practical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment issues
- Diagnose and repair production and facility equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and equipment adjustments
- Read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings
- Complete welding, fabrication and equipment repairs
Requirements:
- Industrial Millwright or related qualification and experience
- Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or production
- Hands-on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
- Practical electrical troubleshooting knowledge with industrial equipment
- Robust problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
