Support Manulife’s complex Canadian payroll operations from Waterloo in a hybrid Payroll Analyst position focused on accuracy, controls, and analysis.

This experienced Payroll Analyst supports approximately 13,000 employees across all provinces and six legal entities. The work spans payroll processing, audits, reconciliations, tax, benefits, testing, and reporting. You will collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, Technology, vendors, and business teams to resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process, audit, and validate high-volume Canadian payroll
- Resolve payroll, tax, benefits, employee, and vendor issues
- Lead executive compensation, equity, bonuses, and taxable perks
- Complete quarterly and year-end reconciliations, audits, and filings




- Analyze payroll data for trends, risks, and opportunities

Requirements:

- Five-plus years of progressive Canadian payroll experience
- Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end reporting
- Advanced Excel and large-data analysis skills
- Experience testing payroll system or configuration changes
- ADP GlobalView, SAP, or similar enterprise payroll experience
