Build financial models and transaction expertise as an Investment Banking Associate with Scotiabank’s Financial Institutions Group in Toronto. Work onsite five days weekly.

This Associate position supports Scotiabank’s global Financial Institutions Group within Global Banking and Markets. You will analyze corporate clients, interpret company and industry data, and apply capital markets knowledge. The work includes financial statement analysis, presentations, prospectuses, and transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate financial needs of corporate clients
- Develop and maintain financial models
- Create marketing materials and client presentations
- Support transaction structuring and execution
- Identify and develop client business opportunities

Requirements:

- Two to five years’ investment banking or M&A; experience preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
- Solid quantitative and financial analysis skills
- Deep familiarity with capital markets
- Excellent Microsoft Suite and Excel command
