At Sullivan + Associates Clinical Psychology, we're expanding our assessment services across Ontario and looking for experienced Registered Psychologists and Psychological Associates interested in joining our team as independent contractors.

If you enjoy conducting psychological assessments but would prefer to spend less time managing testing logistics, scheduling, billing, and other administrative responsibilities, this opportunity may be an excellent fit.

Our assessment model is designed to allow clinicians to focus on clinical interviews, interpretation, diagnostic formulation, report review/finalization, and client feedback. Psychometrists complete testing, and we are progressively introducing an enhanced workflow in which experienced psychometrists can prepare draft reports for psychologist review, clinical interpretation, editing, and final approval. Psychologists who prefer to write their own reports can continue to do so.

What We Offer

- Strong earning potential: $800–$2,000 per assessment, depending on assessment type and report-writing responsibilities.
- Established assessment workflow: Potential for approximately 10–15 assessments per month, depending on referral availability, clinical specialty, and individual capacity.
- Psychometrist support: Testing is completed by our psychometrists within the applicable assessment workflow.

Optional report-writing support: As our enhanced assessment workflow is introduced, experienced psychometrists may prepare draft reports for psychologist review and finalization, allowing psychologists to determine how much of the report-writing process they wish to complete themselves.

- Administrative support: Our team coordinates intake, scheduling, and billing.
- Assessment-focused practice: No ongoing psychotherapy caseload required.
- Flexible opportunities: Virtual and in-person arrangements depending on assessment requirements and location.




- Collaborative clinical environment: Work alongside an established multidisciplinary mental health team.

For clinicians completing higher assessment volumes, monthly contractor revenue may reach $10,000–$18,000 or more. Actual earnings vary based on assessment volume, complexity, and the services performed. No minimum volume or earnings are guaranteed.

Your Responsibilities

- Conduct clinical interviews and review relevant background information.
- Interpret psychological assessment findings.
- Integrate assessment data into diagnostic formulations.
- Review, edit, clinically interpret, and finalize high-quality psychological reports, whether self-drafted or prepared with psychometrist support.
- Provide assessment feedback to clients and families.
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and professional standards.

Who We're Looking For

- Registered Psychologist or Psychological Associate authorized to practise in Ontario.
- At least two years of relevant psychological assessment experience preferred.
- Experience with psychoeducational, ADHD, autism, psycho-diagnostic, neuropsychological, or other psychological assessments.

Experience conducting assessments with children and adolescents is a significant priority across all assessment areas.

- Robust diagnostic formulation and report-writing skills.
- Excellent professional communication and clinical judgment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with psychometrists and administrative teams.
