Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work independently as well as with a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical problems and identify vehicle faults.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and automotive repairs.
- Repair, replace, and service vehicle components and systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues.
- Perform brake, suspension, steering, engine, and other mechanical repairs as required.
- Conduct vehicle safety checks and test-drive vehicles when necessary.
- Maintain accurate repair records and work orders.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician.




- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Ability to use automotive tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Automotive Service Technician certification or Red Seal qualification is an asset.
- A valid driver’s licence is preferred.
