2CE Equipment operates a growing heavy equipment rental and sales fleet serving Northumberland County and surrounding areas. Our fleet includes skid steers, mini excavators, telehandlers, boom lifts, forklifts, trailers, diesel trucks, and various towable equipment. We are seeking a Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician to take a lead role in maintaining our fleet, managing shop operations, overseeing tire services, and performing hydraulic repairs. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys a variety of work and takes pride in ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and rental-ready.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, DEF/emissions systems, and heavy-duty components
- Perform maintenance and repairs on skid steers, mini excavators, telehandlers, forklifts, boom lifts, trailers, trucks, and other fleet equipment
- Diagnose, repair, install, and service hydraulic systems, including hydraulic hoses, cylinders, pumps, valves, motors, and fittings
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Conduct inspections and ensure all equipment meets safety standards and is ready for customer use
- Complete preventative maintenance programs across the fleet
- Perform tire installation, tire repairs, tire replacements, balancing, and general tire maintenance
- Manage tire inventory and monitor replacement schedules
- Complete and maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, maintenance, and certifications
- Oversee shop organization, cleanliness, parts inventory, and workflow




- Ensure tools, parts, and shop equipment are properly maintained and accounted for
- Assist with equipment check-in and check-out inspections
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime
- Perform occasional field service calls when required

Requirements

- Valid Ontario 310T Truck & Coach Technician Licence (Required)
- Must be a licensed/certified mechanic. Apprentices and unlicensed applicants will not be considered
- Strong experience with diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems
- Experience performing tire repairs, replacements, and maintenance
- Experience with construction, agricultural, or rental equipment is considered a strong asset
- Strong organizational and shop management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid G-Class Driver's Licence
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
