The Commercial Appliance Technician diagnoses, repairs, assembles, and services commercial appliances, applying practical electrical and mechanical knowledge to support reliable equipment operation. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with clear, professional customer service.
Duties
- Inspect commercial appliances, identify faults, and complete repairs using appropriate tools and safe work practices.
- Read schematics to trace electrical and mechanical issues, determine repair steps, and verify equipment operation.
- Assemble appliance components, replace or adjust parts, and document work completed and any follow-up needs.
- Communicate findings, repair options, and equipment status clearly to customers and coordinate service details with colleagues.
Requirements
Required: G2 License and Minimum of 3-5 yr on job experience.
313D is an asset but not required.
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
