Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Clamp Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating clamp trucks and forklifts to efficiently handle, move, and organize a variety of goods within the warehouse. Your mechanical knowledge and precision will ensure that items are stored correctly and retrieved promptly, supporting smooth warehouse distribution operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are paramount.

Shift timings - 6:30 am - 2:30 pm

Pay rate $20/hr

Duties

- Operate clamp trucks and forklifts with expertise to handle different types of pallets and materials, ensuring secure and efficient movement throughout the warehouse
- Use mechanical skills to perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, identifying any issues early to prevent disruptions
- Execute order picking tasks accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) to fulfill customer orders promptly
- Assist with heavy lifting activities, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury and damage
- Collaborate with team members to organize inventory, optimize storage space, and maintain a clean work environment
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations,



including securing loads and adhering to warehouse safety standards
- Support inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and updating records in the warehouse management system

Qualifications

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments, with familiarity in operating clamp trucks and forklifts
- Mechanical knowledge or background that enables troubleshooting minor equipment issues
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements
- Strong understanding of order picker operations and order picking procedures
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and processing orders
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to safety and efficiency
