Our client is a distributor of agricultural seed products, supplying growers across North America. They work with trusted growers and suppliers to bring quality products to market.

They are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional to join their sales team This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys agriculture, building customer relationships, and business development while working independently in the field.

This position offers a competitive base salary plus a commission structure with lucrative earning potential tied to your success in growing the territory and building customer relationships.

Position Summary

The focus of this role will be to drive business growth through the South West Ontario territory including customer development and regular visits with growers and suppliers in the field.

The successful candidate will build and maintain long-term customer relationships while representing the company professionally. They will also support product evaluation and field trials to help identify new opportunities for the business. This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will be based in the Norfolk County area.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage sales and service of company products within an assigned territory




- Drive territory growth by developing new business and expanding existing relationships
- Work with the Sales Manager to strengthen the customer base and attract new clients
- Collect and maintain data from product trials
- Conduct field evaluations of pre-commercial products and identify market opportunities
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify new products and emerging opportunities
- Represent the company at industry events such as tradeshows and field days
- Support product distribution to customers within the territory
- Manage expenses in line with regional budgets

Qualifications

- Experience in agriculture/ agronomy or a related industry
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3–5 years of relevant sales and marketing experience
- Understanding of commercial produce and crop production
- Fluent in English and French, written and verbal
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Proficient with common office/productivity software
- Comfortable using technology to support sales and customer service
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within the territory

Pay: $75,000.00-$120,202.55 per year

Experience:

- agronomy or cash crop: 3 years (preferred)
- Sales within vegtable/fruit seed or related industry : 3 years (preferred)
