We're growing our leadership team and looking for experienced Restaurant Managers who can take ownership of daily operations, lead confidently under pressure, and help maintain the culture that makes Shorty's what it is.

The Role

As a Front of House Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the team through daily service, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring every guest has a outstanding experience.

This is a hands-on leadership position. We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to jump onto the floor, serve tables, solve problems, and lead by example.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee daily Front of House operations.
- Manage and motivate staff in a fast-paced, high-pressure restaurant environment.
- Monitor, track, and maintain labour costs while ensuring efficient staffing.
- Lead busy services while maintaining organization, communication, and consistency.
- Actively serve guests, support the floor, and ensure exceptional hospitality.
- Create and maintain the energetic, welcoming atmosphere Shorty's is known for.
- Train, coach, and develop team members while holding staff accountable to company standards.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and confidently.
- Support scheduling, shift planning, and daily operational decisions.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
- Work closely with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH.





What We're Looking For

Previous restaurant leadership experience is essential.

Our ideal candidate has worked in a busy, high-volume restaurant and understands what it takes to lead a team when things get hectic.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or experienced FOH Supervisor.
- Proven ability to lead teams in high-volume, high-pressure restaurant environments.
- Strong understanding of restaurant labour management and staffing efficiency.
- Experience training, coaching, and developing employees in environments with frequent staff turnover.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm, confident, and effective during demanding services.
- Strong guest service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Willingness to work hands-on alongside the team.
- Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
