Job Summary

The Collections Agent – Bilingual French English supports timely account resolution through respectful customer conversations, accurate financial records, and clear follow-up. The role uses French and English to discuss outstanding balances, understand customer circumstances, and agree on practical next steps.

Duties

- Contact customers in French or English to discuss accounts receivable, clarify balances, and arrange appropriate payment plans through professional phone etiquette and negotiation.
- Review account activity, perform account analysis and reconciliation, and use accounting software and data entry tools to maintain accurate records.
- Apply basic math and analysis skills to identify discrepancies, document outcomes, and coordinate account questions with colleagues.
- Provide customer service while following established procedures and handling account information carefully.

Skills

Required: Bilingual French and English communication, phone etiquette, customer service, accurate data entry, basic math, and careful account review support effective collections work. Preferred: Experience with accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accounting software, negotiation, financial services, account reconciliation, or account analysis can strengthen your ability to assess balances and support practical resolutions.

Pay: $37,200.00-$60,000.00 per year
