We are currently recruiting for a long term caregiver to assist a male employer, who is a C5 Quadriplegic power wheelchair user, with personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.

The employer likes spending time watching movies, gaming and listening to pre 2000s music.

Location:

- Kamloops (Near Westside Secondary School)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

- 3 2-hour evening shifts per week
- Specific days can be discussed
- 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm or (6:00 pm to 8:00 pm)
- Willingness to be on call for back up/casual shifts
- Opportunity to acquire day shifts eventually for right candidate

Compensation:

- $27 during probation and $28 per hour after probation

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Daily personal care, such as showering, dressing, washroom care
- Light housekeeping duties
- Meal preparation and assisted feeding
- Range of Motion exercises

Required Qualifications:

- Fully vaccinated preferred but not required
- Caregiving experience preferred
- Physically fit
- Willingness to learn when training is provided
