Position Title: Warehouse Associate

Department: Warehouse

Position Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

Shift: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday 5pm-3:30am.

Position Summary:

In this position, your day will consist of operating Material Handling Equipment to move around the warehouse to prepare products for shipping and/or receiving. You will be expected to follow Health & Safety and Food Safety standards and ensure the accuracy of the orders for customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate Material Handling Equipment, including pre-shift and post-shift equipment check.
- Working in a variety of temperature zones from dry (15 degrees) to freezer (-20 degrees Celsius).
- Follow safe and efficient work procedures to meet customer requirements including maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Complete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training pertinent to the role
- Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices
- Other duties as assigned.

General Duties

- Ensure the safety of trailers when in the loading dock.
- Assist Agropur drivers with off loading incoming cross dock freight.
- Assist the Agropur drivers with the retrieval of their freight as required.




- Store all un-needed freight in the appropriate storage areas.
- Stack, Wrap, and Store empty milk crates
- All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

- A minimum of 6 months warehouse experience.
- Experience operating material handling equipment – specifically reach truck and end rider
- Good communication skills (reading and writing) and strong customer service mentality.
- Ability to work in multiple environments including colder climates - refrigerated and freezer areas.
- A good attitude, with the ability to work independently and within a team setting.
- Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work all stat holidays
- Hours of work: Approximately 20 hours per week – 3:30am to approximately 7:30am
