East Ottawa Dental was established by Dr. Basel Zbib in 2023 and is conveniently located on St. Laurent Blvd across from St. Laurent Mall. We are committed to providing quality, ethical dental care. Job Description

Our team is growing! We are seeking ONE qualified Level II Dental Assistant to join our small team of dental assistants in order to enhance the patient experience; As a vital member of our team, you will assist with various dental and administrative duties, ensuring that our patients receive top-notch care in a comfortable setting. If you enjoy working with patients, want to be part of a kind and empathetic dental family and are self directed, this is the place for you!

Schedule:

Thursday: 12pm-8pm

Friday: 9am-5pm

One Saturday per 1-2 months: 9am-3pm

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Ensure the treatment room is clean, organized, and properly stocked.




- Provide patient education and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain patient records and assist with charting as needed
- Provide excellent patient care and support, creating a positive and comfortable experience.
- Adhere to infection control procedures and follow health and safety regulations.
- Flexible to cover front desk duties as needed

Qualifications

- Level II Assistant Certification is required.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive, kind attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Proficiency with dental software (onyx) and office administration - BONUS

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
