Overview

- We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Baker to prepare high-quality baked goods in a clean, organized kitchen.
- The ideal candidate takes pride in consistent results, follows food safety practices, and works well with other bakers
- This is a paid position. Applicants should be prepared to work in a fast-paced food industry environment.

Duties

- Prepare, mix, shape, bake, and finish a variety of products according to recipes and quality standards.
- Complete food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients and preparing fillings, frostings, and toppings.
- Decorate cakes and other baked goods with care.
- Follow food handling and food safety procedures, including maintaining clean work surfaces and equipment.
- Monitor ingredient supplies and communicate when items need replenishing.
- Assist with cooking and other kitchen duties as needed. Such as cleaning, organizing,



making lists and thinking ahead.
- Keep the baking area organized and support a clean, safe kitchen.

Experience

- Previous baking experience is required.
- Cake decorating experience is an asset
- Kitchen experience and familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and packaging are preferred.
- Restaurant experience or other food industry experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and food safety practices is required.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy setting are essential.
- Willing to train the right candidate

Pay: $21.00 per hour
