Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial painting projects. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various structures. The Painter will work closely with project managers and clients to meet specifications and deadlines, utilizing a range of hand tools, power tools etc. Solid communication skills are needed.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other tools
- Perform restoration work on damaged or aged surfaces with precision and attention to detail
- Utilize rigging and scaffolding techniques safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of waste materials and cleaning tools after use




- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered

Requirements

- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients when needed
- Good communication skills for team collaboration and reporting issues promptly
- Ability to work safely at heights using scaffolding or ladders while following safety protocols
