Duties

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications while maintaining quality standards
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently with Micros POS or similar systems
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices to meet safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the work area
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality




- Maintain inventory levels by restocking ingredients and supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper sanitation procedures and safe food handling techniques

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and confidently with cash handling experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate order assembly and transaction processing
- Restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Ability to work well in a team setting and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting
