Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role. The Server position offers an engaging work environment where hospitality and customer satisfaction are our top priorities.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and order accuracy
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards




- Assist with food preparation or kitchen duties as needed to support overall restaurant operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism
- Follow all sanitation, health, and safety regulations related to food handling and service

Experience

- Prior food service or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for new team members
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and processing transactions accurately
- Experience in hospitality or the food industry is advantageous for understanding guest needs and delivering excellent service
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
