We are seeking motivated Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Apprentices to join our team on commercial tenant improvement (TI) projects, including offices, retail spaces, restaurants, and other commercial renovations.

This paid position offers hands-on experience in electrical installation, alterations, and troubleshooting under the supervision of qualified electricians. Assignments will reflect each apprentice’s experience, skills, and training level.

Duties

- Assist with electrical installations and renovations on commercial TI projects.
- Install conduit, BX cable, wiring, boxes, receptacles, switches, and related components under supervision.
- Assist with installing lighting fixtures, lighting controls, occupancy sensors, exit signs, and emergency lighting.
- Support panel installations, branch circuit wiring, and connections for commercial equipment.
- Assist with electrical demolition, circuit tracing, and relocation of existing electrical services.
- Read and follow electrical drawings, lighting layouts, panel schedules, and specifications with guidance.
- Assist with fire alarm and low-voltage rough-in as assigned.
- Help troubleshoot electrical issues and report findings to the supervising electrician.




- Coordinate assigned tasks with the electrical crew and other trades.
- Follow applicable electrical codes, site safety procedures, and safe work practices.
- Keep work areas clean and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.

Skills and Qualifications

- Currently enrolled as a Level 2 or Level 3 Electrical Apprentice.
- Previous commercial electrical experience preferred, particularly on tenant improvement projects.
- Familiarity with conduit installation, BX wiring, lighting, and electrical devices.
- Basic ability to read electrical drawings and follow installation instructions.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Willingness to learn and work around existing building systems and occupied spaces.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with supervisors, crew members, and other trades.

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour
