Job Summary

As a Sales Associate Representative, you will promote and sell food, beverages, bottled water, candy, and other consumer products through direct customer engagement, retail sales, and door-to-door outreach. You will build customer relationships, introduce products to potential customers and businesses, explain product benefits, and identify new sales opportunities. The role requires a proactive, customer-focused individual who is comfortable approaching current customers, conducting product demonstrations, and supporting sales growth.

Responsibilities

- Direct Sales & Door-to-Door Outreach: Visit homes, businesses, and potential retail customers to introduce products, present offerings, distribute samples or promotional materials where appropriate, and generate sales leads.
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers, understand their needs, answer product questions, and recommend suitable food, beverage, water, and candy products.
- Product Demonstrations: Explain product features, flavours, packaging, pricing, and benefits to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Sales & Upselling: Promote products, communicate current offers, upsell where appropriate, and work toward assigned sales targets.
- Business Development: Identify potential customers, retailers, convenience stores, and other sales channels to expand product distribution and develop new accounts.
- Merchandising & Displays: Set up promotional displays, replenish products, organize shelves, and maintain a clean and presentable sales area.




- Order Processing & Payments: Assist with order taking, POS transactions, cash handling, and accurate recording of sales and customer orders.
- Communication & Reporting: Maintain professional communication, track customer interactions and sales leads, and provide updates on customer feedback and market opportunities.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the sales and distribution teams to support promotions, product availability, and overall sales objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Confidence approaching unfamiliar customers and conducting door-to-door sales.
- Good organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to explain product information clearly and professionally.
- Basic mathematics and accuracy in handling payments and recording orders.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- English proficiency sufficient for customer interactions and sales activities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales, direct sales, door-to-door sales, merchandising, or customer service.
- Experience selling food, beverages, bottled water, candy, or other consumer packaged goods.
- Ability to build relationships with retail stores, convenience stores, and other business customers.
- Additional language skills are an asset when serving diverse customer groups.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
