Overview

The Dental Assistant supports a smooth, welcoming visit by helping patients feel comfortable and enabling the dental team to provide organized, attentive care. This role combines hands-on dental assisting with explicit communication, accurate documentation, and coordination of patient needs.

Duties

- Prepare treatment areas and instruments, assist during dental procedures, and maintain an orderly clinical environment.
- Welcome patients, help coordinate appointments, and communicate visit information with the dental team.
- Update patient records accurately and use relevant dental software and medical terminology to support clear documentation.
- Assist with patient care across general dentistry, orthodontics, and pediatric visits, following established office procedures.

Qualifications

Required:



Practical dental assisting capabilities, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to document patient information accurately while supporting clinical workflows. Preferred: Experience as a dental receptionist or familiarity with Epic, Dentrix, orthodontics, pediatrics, medical terminology, or CAD can help you contribute across patient care and office coordination. Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
