Casper’s Early Learning Co-operative Centre is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Assistant Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a part-time basis.

Whether you are just starting your career, considering a future in Early Childhood Education, or already have your ECE Level I certification, this is a excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and make a positive difference in the lives of young children.

No ECE certification is required to apply! We welcome candidates who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive early learning environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist educators with children’s daily care, supervision, play, and learning activities.
- Support daily routines, including meals, handwashing, toileting, and diapering as needed.
- Help prepare activities and learning materials.
- Clean and sanitize toys, tables, and childcare spaces.
- Assist with laundry, tidying, organizing supplies, and general housekeeping.
- Help with snack preparation and kitchen cleanup when required.
- Follow centre policies, safety procedures, and childcare licensing requirements.




- Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications

- ECE certification is not required.
- Previous childcare experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Willingness to obtain a criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
- Caring, patient, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Genuine interest in children’s learning, development, and well-being.

Pay: $15.70-$16.40 per hour
