Overview

The Serving Assistant supports smooth, welcoming food service by helping prepare and serve meals, assisting guests, and keeping service areas clean and organized. This hands-on role contributes to a positive dining experience through attentive service, reliable teamwork, and careful food handling.

Duties

- Serve food and beverages, respond courteously to guest requests, and communicate orders clearly with colleagues.
- Assist with food preparation and meal setup, following safe food-handling practices and keeping kitchen and service areas clean.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS where applicable, and handle transactions accurately when cashiering.
- Support cooking and routine service tasks as assigned, helping the team maintain an orderly, efficient operation.

Qualifications

Required: Clear communication, customer service, serving, basic food preparation, cleaning, and protected food handling are practical capabilities for supporting guests and maintaining organized service areas. Preferred: Food service, kitchen, restaurant, hotel, hospitality, or guest-services experience is helpful, as are familiarity with POS or Micros POS, cashiering and cash handling, cooking, meal preparation, barista tasks, and food safety practices.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
