We are looking for an organized Medical Office Assistant to join our busy radiology clinic on a casual basis. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys flexible work and can step in to cover sick days, vacation and occasional busy periods. There may be opportunities for scheduled days over time.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and ensure their confidential information is accurate.
- Receive and pend medical requisitions into Meditech, obtaining clarification from physician offices as needed.
- Fill daily ultrasound, bone density, and X‑ray appointment slots, providing patients with accurate preparation instructions.
- Liaison with local clinics, hospitals, and immigration clinics.
- Connect patients with the appropriate technologist for their appointment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Provide coverage for staff absences as needed

Working Conditions:

- Fast-paced radiology clinic with multiple daily responsibilities.
- Four receptionist stations rotated daily: Booking: Two phone stations handling patient scheduling.



Receiving: In-person patient contact; standing for most of the day. Pending: Seated data entry position.

Qualifications:

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Quick and accurate typist
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using EMR systems and office software
- Familiarity with Meditech considered an asset
