Overview

We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and help create a welcoming experience for patients. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable assisting with both patient care and day-to-day office operations. Experience in general dentistry is valued; familiarity with orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.

Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before appointments, following infection-control and safety procedures.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including passing instruments and helping patients feel comfortable.
- Take and organize dental records and images as directed, and maintain accurate, confidential patient charts.
- Review appointment schedules, help coordinate patient flow, and support follow-up care.
- Provide courteous assistance at the front desk as needed, including greeting patients and helping with check-in and scheduling.
- Use dental practice and electronic health record systems to document visits and manage records; experience with Tracker is helpful.
- Communicate clearly with patients and team members,



using knowledge of medical terminology to support accurate documentation and patient understanding.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical workplace and restock supplies.
- Assist with digital dentistry or design workflows when applicable; familiarity with CAD is a plus.

Experience

- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred; training or relevant education may also be considered.
- Experience as a dental receptionist or in a patient-facing healthcare setting is an asset.
- Familiarity with Tracker, dental charting, and clinical documentation is beneficial.
- Exposure to orthodontics, pediatrics, or CAD workflows is welcome but not required.
- Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential.
- Ability to follow clinical protocols, protect patient privacy, and work collaboratively with a dental team is required.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 32.0 per week
