Project Name:

ADX Studio Modernization Project

Scope:

The Province requires 2 Full Stack Developers / Power Pages Migration Specialists for a 6-month term to lead the modernization of our legacy portal infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Adxstudio Portals and deep expertise in transitioning these systems to modern Microsoft Power Pages, leveraging Dataverse and the enhanced data model. Team members will be responsible for analyzing, migrating, and optimizing entity forms, Liquid templates, web files, and custom JavaScript code to the new platform—utilizing enterprise AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to accelerate code translation, automate schema mapping, and enhance efficiency across the migration lifecycle.

Duties: This is the standard description of services – revise as needed.

- Migration Strategy & Technical Discovery: Analyze legacy Adxstudio portal architecture, identify custom configurations (adx_ entities), contribute to field research, lead technical discovery, and deliver solution design artifacts.
- AI-Accelerated Code & Logic Conversion: Leverage enterprise AI development tools including Microsoft Copilot (Copilot for Power Pages, GitHub Copilot) to translate legacy .NET/C# business logic into Liquid Web Templates, generate custom JavaScript, and refactor CSS to up-to-date standards.
- Data Migration & Schema Refactoring: Use Power Platform CLI (pac ppa) and Dataverse migration tools to migrate data from the standard model to the Enhanced Data Model.
- Form/List Modernization: Recreate Entity Forms, Web Forms, and Lists into modern Power Pages Multistep Forms, using AI prompt engineering to accelerate field validation scripts and optimize code.
- System Integration & Security: Maintain seamless functionality across external integrations (payment processing, authentication frameworks, SharePoint) and map legacy security roles to Dataverse Table Permissions and Web Roles.
- Testing, Deployment & Knowledge Sharing:

Perform user acceptance testing (UAT), debug migration errors via AI diagnostic workflows, support launch activities, maintain technical documentation, and onboard incoming technical team members.
