Title: Security Guard – Mobile Patrol & Parking

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $21.41/hour

Site: Surrey Campus

Site Overview

Based out of our Surrey location, this mobile role provides security coverage for properties across the Lower Mainland and Metro Vancouver. Your shifts start and end at the Surrey base, combining mobile driving patrols with active foot patrols across various client facilities.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operate a Paladin patrol vehicle to inspect client properties and maintain a visible presence.

- Respond promptly and effectively to alarm calls, accidents, and emergency situations.

- Conduct foot patrols inside and outside facilities, including navigating stairs and uneven terrain.

- Identify security breaches or property damage and direct unauthorized individuals off the premises.

- Report incident details accurately to the Security Command Centre and escalate unresolved issues as required.

- Build positive, professional relationships with client staff, local businesses, and community members.

- Complete assigned tasks from supervisors while maintaining confidentiality and safety standards.

Must Haves

- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.

- Availability to work night shifts and on-call rotations as needed.

- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor during emergencies.

Nice-to-Haves

- Occupational First Aid Level 2 (IFA) certification (training will be provided to successful candidates).





- Post-secondary education in Criminology or Law Enforcement.
