Room Attendant

- Attend to guest rooms by changing linens, vacuuming carpeting, dusting furniture, cleaning bathrooms, picking up litter and emptying wastebaskets.
- Replenish supplies in guest rooms, and deliver extra linens, irons and other supplies to guests when required.
- Restock storage areas and housekeeping carts.
- Laundry duties including cleaning and folding towels, duvets, shower curtains and rags, as well as preparation of sheets for laundry service.
- Work as part of a team to clean public areas of hotel.

Requirements

Must be willing to work varied shifts, keeping in mind that weekends & holidays are typically our busiest time.
Ability to take direction, but also work efficiently and independently.




Ability to proactively greet customers and be friendly, professional, polite and helpful when dealing with customers and employees.
Knowledge & ability to use various cleaning products and equipment properly and safely.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to meet and deal with the public on a regular basis.
Demonstrate good verbal communication skills.
Must have physical strength and endurance.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn different aspects of the hospitality business.

Job Types: Full time, Temporary
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: From $18.75 per hour
