Looking for a career with room to grow?
We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy, customer-focused individual to join our team and help manage the day-to-day operations of a busy automotive repair shop.
This is more than a front desk position. We are looking for someone who can think on their feet, solve problems, take initiative, and work well with both customers and technicians. The right person will have the prospect to grow into a Shop Manager position, with increased responsibility and a higher pay bracket, based on experience, performance, and time in the role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Answer incoming calls professionally, take messages, and assist customers.
- Order parts and coordinate with technicians to keep repairs moving efficiently.
- Organize and manage the shop calendar and daily workflow.
- Speak with customers about their vehicle concerns and communicate repair recommendations.
- Contact customers to discuss additional issues, estimates, and required repairs.
- Build work orders, prepare invoices, and process customer payments.
- Handle day-to-day challenges and help keep shop operations running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- Solid customer service skills are a must. You must be comfortable answering phones, communicating professionally, and dealing with customers.
- Automotive knowledge is highly important. A working understanding of vehicles, automotive parts, and how a repair shop operates is strongly preferred.
- A problem solver who can think quickly on their feet and handle situations both big and small.
- Someone who takes initiative, is comfortable taking charge when needed, and knows when to ask questions.
- A self-learner who is motivated to develop their skills and take on new responsibilities.
- Someone who works well with others and understands the importance of teamwork, communication, and organization.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage based on the quality and level of your experience.
- Opportunity for career advancement into a Shop Manager position with a higher pay bracket.
