SHIPPER/RECEIVER AND GENERAL LABOUR

Responsibilities:

- Receive raw materials (metal tubes, pipes, flat bars etc.), verify the dimensions, quantities and record them
- Pack the finished orders and then transfer them to the shipping area
- Keep the shipping/receiving area organised
- Maintain all shipping/receiving related paperwork
- Perform other assigned duties when the shipping/receiving is not busy for example: cut raw materials, clean metal parts etc.

Skills/Qualifications:

- Must have valid Forklift license (propane)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a Permanent resident or Canadian citizen
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a shipper/receiver in a metal fabrication shop
- Must be able to use tape measures & vernier calipers
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
- Effective and professional communication skills-verbal and written
- Detailed oriented and ability to multitask
- Time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
