About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Onsite IT Support Technician with 1–6 months of IT support experience to provide short-term backfill coverage on an as-needed basis for a key client in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

Assignments depend on client needs, with the possibility of an extension. Ongoing hours, extensions, and long-term employment are not guaranteed.

This entry-level role requires basic hands-on technical knowledge, robust communication skills, and a proactive approach to customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide local and remote IT support for hardware and software issues
- Assist with user setup, domain joins, and smart card configuration
- Reimage and deploy systems following established procedures
- Maintain IT inventory and asset tracking
- Respond to service requests using ticketing tools




- Follow internal IT procedures and security policies

Required Skills

- 1–6 months of experience in IT support or a similar technical role
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows environments, Office 365, and Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with device imaging and reimaging
- Basic understanding of LAN, VPN, and remote access; familiarity with smart card technology is an asset
- Availability for short-term assignments based on coverage needs
- Experience with Apple devices, including iPhones and iPads, is a plus

Pay: $4,000.00-$5,200.00 per month
