Job Summary

As a Tutor, you help learners build understanding and confidence through clear explanations, focused instruction, and supportive guidance. You adapt your approach to learners’ needs, encourage questions, and create a positive environment for learning.

Grade K to 12 , English, Math and Science Tutors required.

Duties

- Plan and deliver tutoring sessions that reinforce learning goals and help learners practise key concepts.
- Explain material in accessible ways, check understanding, and adjust instruction when learners need another approach.
- Encourage participation, provide constructive feedback, and track progress to guide future sessions.
- Communicate relevant updates with colleagues and families, supporting consistent learning. Your impact:

Skills

Required: Strong communication skills and practical teaching and tutoring abilities help you explain concepts, listen to learners, and adapt sessions to support understanding. Preferred: Experience working with children and classroom experience can strengthen your ability to engage learners, manage group dynamics, and contribute to a welcoming, focused learning environment.

Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 per week
