Job Summary

The Skate Change Room Attendant helps create a safe, welcoming, and organized experience for guests at the skating facility. This role supports guests as they prepare to skate, answers questions, assists with change room upkeep, and helps ensure smooth guest flow. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, attentive to safety, and comfortable interacting with children and families.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide courteous, helpful customer service and guest services throughout their visit.
- Assist guests with finding and using change room areas, lockers, and other facility amenities.
- Keep change rooms and nearby guest areas clean, orderly, and safe; promptly report spills, hazards, or maintenance needs.
- Help manage guest flow during busy periods and communicate facility guidelines clearly.
- Provide brief public announcements or instructions when needed, using a clear and professional speaking style.
- Clear snow from walkways from door to rink




- Respond calmly to guest questions and concerns, and refer issues to a supervisor when appropriate.
- Follow facility procedures for safety, cleanliness, and respectful treatment of all guests.

Experience

- Customer service, guest services, or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Experience working with children is a plus; applicants should be patient, approachable, and attentive to children’s needs.
- Public speaking or experience making announcements is helpful.
- Solid communication, organization, and teamwork skills are significant.
- Must be reliable, comfortable standing and moving around the facility during a shift, and willing to learn site procedures.

Pay: $10.00-$15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2.0 per week
