Job Summary

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you transport freight over long distances, helping ensure shipments reach their destinations safely and on schedule. The role combines commercial driving, careful trip planning, and responsible vehicle handling.

Duties

- Operate a truck on long-distance routes and follow applicable road safety practices.
- Inspect the vehicle before and during trips, report concerns, and coordinate maintenance needs.
- Secure freight appropriately, monitor loads, and complete shipment and trip records accurately.
- Use forklift or heavy equipment operation skills when needed to support loading and unloading.
- Your impact: Reliable deliveries help customers receive freight and colleagues coordinate their work.

Skills

Required: Practical commercial driving capability, safe vehicle handling, attention to detail, and clear communication are significant for completing routes, checking freight, and reporting vehicle issues. Preferred: Experience transporting freight, forklift use, heavy equipment operation, or basic automotive repair can support efficient loading, equipment handling, and routine vehicle checks.

Pay: $31.35 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
