Overview

The Cook/Cashier prepares food and serves customers while supporting smooth, clean, and accurate daily service. This hands-on role combines kitchen tasks, point-of-sale transactions, and friendly customer interaction.

Duties

- Prepare and serve food, follow food-handling and food-safety practices, and maintain clean, sanitary work areas.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS where applicable, process payments, handle cash, and use basic math to ensure accurate transactions.
- Assist customers, answer questions, and use appropriate upselling to support a positive service experience.
- Manage time effectively while coordinating food preparation, cashiering, and service needs with colleagues.

Requirements

Required: Practical food preparation, safe food handling,



sanitation, cashiering, cash handling, POS operation, basic math, time management, and customer service capabilities support the daily duties. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, or kitchen experience; familiarity with Micros POS, serving, and upselling can help you contribute confidently across both kitchen and front-of-house tasks.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
