Rhodes Resto + Bar is hiring dependable and guest-focused Hosts, Expos, and Food Runners for our Midland location. This posting is for existing vacancies.

These positions support the flow of restaurant service by welcoming guests, organizing seating, coordinating completed orders, and ensuring food is delivered accurately and promptly.

Compensation: $17.60–$20.00 per hour, based on position and experience.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide a friendly, qualified first impression
- Manage the waitlist, reservations, and seating arrangements
- Answer guest questions and direct inquiries appropriately
- Keep the entrance, host area, menus, and waiting area organized
- Communicate table availability and service needs to the restaurant team
- Review completed orders for accuracy, presentation, and required accompaniments
- Coordinate food pickup between the kitchen and service teams
- Deliver food to the correct tables promptly and professionally
- Communicate missing, delayed, or incorrect items to the appropriate team member
- Assist with clearing, resetting, and preparing tables when required
- Maintain clean and organized service and expo areas
- Complete assigned opening, closing, and side duties
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures
- Support other front-of-house duties during busy service periods





Qualifications

- Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to order accuracy and presentation
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow restaurant procedures and service standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation where required under applicable law
