Key Responsibilities

- Monthly inventory reconciliation with general ledger and inventory report; Make journal entries for validated variances;

- Perform variance analysis on PPV, material usage variance, labor absorption variances and overhead variances;

- Understand standard costing structure in accounting; Update standard cost for new purchased items and cost roll up for manufactured items;

- Assist annual cost roll up;

- Perform Inventory cycle count as plan; Validate item’s location on shop floor same as the location in ERP system; Investigate the reason for variance with stockroom; Make variance report and adjustment with approval in the system.

- Assist annual inventory with tag printing; Review the inventory physical location aligned with system location; Variance calculation; data entry to ERP system;

- Perform inventory analysis for aging, obsolete or stagnant;





- Make necessary inventory adjustment with approval;

- Complete monthly closing as the closing list, including journal entries, reconciliations, E&O; and variance capitalization etc;

- Backup A/P, A/R and banking role as a G/L function;

- Create the report template as business and operation needs;

- Ad-hoc work assigned by controller;

Preferred Experience

- Experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, or engineered products organizations;

- Experience with costing role, solid accounting and reporting;

- Experience with ERP system, especially inventory, job orders, costing modules preferred;

- More than 5 years accounting background;

- Excellent skill of Microsoft Excel; Valuable at formula to lookup data and analysis; Data query and SQL experience preferred;

- Good communication in English;

- CPA or on CPA learning is preferred
