Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist with daily production planning, employee scheduling, shift coverage, and task assignments.
- Support the supervision and coordination of production employees to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Help train new employees, communicate job expectations, and provide guidance to team members.
- Monitor production activities to ensure bakery products meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Assist with bakery production processes, including food preparation, mixing, baking, packaging, and other related tasks as required.
- Ensure employees follow company procedures, production schedules, and workplace policies.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and proper food handling practices throughout the production facility.
- Monitor ingredient inventory, packaging materials, equipment, and other production supplies, and report shortages or operational issues.
- Assist with quality control checks and help identify and address production issues.
- Promote a safe, clean, organized, and productive working workplace.
- Communicate operational updates, employee concerns,



and production needs to the supervisor or management team.
- Support management in improving workflow, productivity, teamwork, and overall manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Previous experience in a bakery is mandatory.
- Strong management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise, coordinate, and manage employees effectively.
- Experience in bakery production, food manufacturing, or a related industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of bakery production processes, food handling, and food safety practices is an asset.
- Ability to organize tasks, prioritize production requirements, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees and management to achieve production goals.

Pay Rate

Based on experience. The company will confirm the pay rate during the interview.

Pay: $17.95-$18.00 per hour
