Job Summary

The Framing Carpenter builds and repairs structural wood components for construction and restoration projects. The role involves interpreting plans, preparing materials, and using hand and power tools to complete accurate, dependable work.

Duties

- Read blueprints and schematics, measure and cut lumber, and assemble framing to project specifications.
- Build and install concrete forms; support concrete finishing, siding, drywall, and restoration work as project needs require.
- Operate hand and power tools safely, handle heavy materials, and use heavy equipment when appropriate.
- Coordinate work with the crew, maintain an orderly work area, and apply carpentry, woodworking, or welding skills where useful. Your impact:

Qualifications

Required: Practical carpentry skills, blueprint and schematic reading, and the ability to use hand and power tools for framing tasks. Physical capability for heavy lifting and careful, safety-minded work are key. Preferred: Construction experience, including concrete forming, , siding, concrete finishing, woodworking, welding, or heavy equipment operation, is valuable for supporting varied project needs.

Pay: $23.14-$40.00 per hour
