Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities, managing freight schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with transportation management systems, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in maintaining smooth operations within our supply chain and 3PL partnerships, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Coordinate and schedule freight shipments using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and SyteLine software.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and clients via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating professional phone etiquette.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation.
- Monitor freight movement, analyze shipping data, and provide reports to optimize logistics operations.
- Utilize AS400 systems for order processing and inventory management related to shipping activities.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
- Maintain organized records of shipments, deliveries, and related documentation for audit purposes.




- Assist with analysis of freight costs and operational efficiencies to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

- Proven experience with transportation management systems (TMS), SyteLine, and AS400 platforms.
- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, freight management, and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and typing speed.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret logistics data and identify areas for improvement.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
- Experience working within 3PL environments is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
