Keep commercial trailers safe, dependable, and ready for work through skilled inspection, repair, and maintenance. This hands-on role uses mechanical, electrical, and welding skills to diagnose issues and complete repairs, helping customers and colleagues keep equipment operating reliably.

Responsibilities

- Inspect trailers, identify mechanical or electrical faults, and diagnose issues using schematics and practical mechanical knowledge.
- Repair and maintain trailer components using hand tools and power tools; perform welding, assembly, and automotive repair as needed.
- Complete maintenance work carefully, document findings, and communicate repair needs and progress with customers and colleagues.
- Your impact: dependable repairs help customers return equipment to service and support smooth operations.

Qualifications





Required: Practical mechanical knowledge and the ability to use hand tools and power tools safely for inspection, maintenance, repair, and assembly. Transparent communication and customer service skills support accurate updates and effective coordination. Preferred: Mechanic experience, dealership experience, and automotive repair, welding, electrical, or HVAC experience. Familiarity with excavators, cranes, Caterpillar equipment, forklifts, farm machinery, heavy equipment operation, industrial equipment, and schematics is advantageous; comfort with heavy lifting is also helpful.

Pay: $24.56-$28.00 per hour
