We located in Oakbank, Manitoba and will train in our Oakbank home.

This position will be full time training, then move to part time, Saturdays, Sundays, 10 am-5PM, days only.

You must have a valid drivers license . We are kind caring parents and our goal is to find a honest, hardworking person who will have same family values as we do in our home . Family First.

You will be trained for Apprx 2 weeks of Monday- Friday, 9 am-4 Pm

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to our son in our home.
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with medication administration

-Mouth suctioning is required

-Ability to work with non-verbal young man and able to give quality of life, as well as, valuable sense of humour
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of his living areas and common spaces
- Perform lifting with Sara and Hoyer lifts, as needed to assist young man with mobility and transfers
- Provide support and assistance to individual and family

Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both Verbal and written in English




- Ability to work effectively in a Family Home Environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, when working with young man
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy

- Motivated Person should apply

Must like Large Dogs

Please note that previous experience in healthcare is a must. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and qualities.
