Overview
The General Labourer (Industrial) supports day-to-day industrial in metal industry operations by helping prepare materials, assemble products, and maintain an orderly work area. This hands-on role suits someone who works carefully, follows instructions, and contributes to a safe, productive team environment.

Responsibilities

- Move, sort, and stage materials for production and warehouse activities, using appropriate handling practices.
- Assist with assembly tasks, operate hand tools and power tools as directed, and support routine mechanical work.
- Keep work areas, tools, and materials organized; follow workplace safety procedures and report hazards or equipment concerns.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse colleagues to keep tasks moving and materials available.

Experience

Required: Practical ability to follow instructions,



handle materials carefully, use hand tools, and work reliably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Mechanical knowledge and safe use of power tools support assembly and routine tasks. Preferred: Warehouse experience and familiarity with forklift operations are advantageous, along with experience in manufacturing or assembly. Clear communication, attention to detail, and teamwork help you coordinate tasks, keep records or work areas orderly, and contribute to consistent operations.

Pay: $16.33-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week

- Metal Industry: 1 year (preferred)
