The Opportunity

We are hiring a Service Manager to join our team in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

In this role, you will manage daily service operations, support customers and coordinate field and shop mechanics. You will bring gas compression expertise and strong leadership skills to help the team deliver safe, reliable and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Branch Manager with daily operations and business decisions.
- Oversee the quality of field work, shop work and rental equipment returns.
- Ensure service activities meet health and safety requirements.
- Support local customers and respond to their service needs.
- Open work orders and coordinate field service mechanics.
- Review and approve daily field and shop timesheets.
- Assist with invoicing when jobs are complete.
- Coordinate outside services and arrange required purchase orders.
- Provide technical support to field mechanics.
- Assist with service work when needed.
- Provide on-call support.





Qualifications

- Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright Certificate.
- At least five years of experience in the gas compression industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Transparent communication skills when working with customers and team members.
- Strong leadership skills to guide the team and manage daily priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with staff across branch locations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including accurate paperwork.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing customer needs.

Physical and Work Requirements

- Wear steel-toe footwear and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
