Job Summary

- We are seeking a dependable Breakfast Cook Assistant to help prepare and serve breakfast in a clean, organized kitchen. This role supports the cooking team with meal preparation, food service, and daily kitchen tasks.
- The ideal candidate is attentive to detail, works well as part of a team, and is committed to providing guests with a welcoming dining experience.
- Training and guidance will be provided on kitchen procedures and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Assist with breakfast food preparation and meal preparation, including washing, cutting, portioning, and arranging ingredients.
- Support cooking tasks by following recipes and instructions from the cook or kitchen lead.
- Help set up the serving area, replenish dishes and supplies, and assist with serving guests.
- Maintain clean workstations, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment throughout the shift.
- Follow proper food handling practices, including secure storage, labeling, and temperature control.




- Observe food safety and sanitation procedures, including handwashing and preventing cross-contamination.
- Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Communicate with kitchen and service staff to help ensure breakfast service runs smoothly.

Skills

- Interest in cooking, food preparation, and hospitality; prior food service experience is helpful but not required.
- Restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or experience in the food industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic food handling, sanitation, and food safety practices is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and established procedures.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work cooperatively in a busy kitchen.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and completing routine kitchen tasks.

Rémunération : 16,60$ à 18,00$ par heure
