Our client is a growing Canadian multi-unit consumer business seeking a Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership and cross-functional departments, providing financial insights that support operational performance, strategic decision-making, and continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc sales and performance reports for leadership.
Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business initiatives and support decision-making.
Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Analyze financial and operational data, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to management.
Perform full-cycle accounting responsibilities for multiple operating locations, including preparation and review of profit and loss statements.
Support the administration and maintenance of management reporting tools and databases.
Partner with Finance, Operations, and Marketing teams to monitor business performance and identify trends.
Conduct sales, margin, and operational performance analysis.
Evaluate the effectiveness and financial impact of business initiatives and growth strategies.
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as required.

Qualifications
2+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, FP& A, or a related finance function.
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills,



with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take ownership of projects and initiatives.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Advanced Excel skills are considered a solid asset.
