Job Overview

We are seeking a mechanically inclined and detail-oriented Die Shop Technician / Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining, die assembly, tool and die, or a related manufacturing setting.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working with manufacturing equipment, interpreting technical drawings, and using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Operate manufacturing equipment, including drill presses, milling machines, surface grinders, and band saws.
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments, including calipers, to complete tasks accurately.
- Assist with die assembly, machining, fitting, and related manufacturing activities.
- Inspect components to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and established production standards.

Qualifications and Requirements





- Previous experience in die assembly, tool and die, machining, or a related manufacturing environment is a strong asset.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience operating manufacturing machinery and using hand tools.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including calipers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekend shifts when required.

Compensation and Schedule

- Hourly Rate: $23.00–$25.00, based on experience.
- Regular Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- Lunch Break: 30 minutes unpaid.
- Weekend Work: Saturday or Sunday shifts may occasionally be required.
