Job Overview

As a Truck Driver - Class 1, you’ll transport freight safely and reliably, coordinate loading and delivery activities, and help keep shipments moving smoothly. You’ll work with colleagues to support timely handoffs and dependable service for customers.

Duties

- Operate a commercial vehicle to transport freight along assigned routes and complete deliveries.
- Coordinate loading and unloading, using a forklift where appropriate, and secure cargo for transit.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks, report maintenance concerns, and use basic automotive repair skills to address minor issues.
- Follow safe operating practices when handling heavy equipment and communicate delivery updates to colleagues.

Requirements

Required: Practical commercial driving capabilities, safe freight handling,



attention to vehicle condition, and clear communication are essential to completing deliveries and coordinating cargo movement. Preferred: Forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair skills are helpful, along with related experience supporting transport, loading, or vehicle upkeep. Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
