Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sushi Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with attention to detail and presentation
- Ensure all food handling and preparation adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area throughout your shift
- Assist in ingredient storage, inventory management, and ordering to ensure freshness and availability of supplies
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient food service during busy hours
- Follow recipes, portion control standards, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency in every dish




- Uphold high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction at all times

Experience

- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar food preparation role within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of sushi making techniques, including knife skills and fish handling
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices in a professional kitchen
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment with excellent serving skills
- Demonstrated ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment used in sushi preparation and food handling procedures

Pay: $16.60-$18.00 per hour
